’’ I used to think I had all the time in the world.

Saying goodbye felt like something that belonged to other people. Other families. Other stories.

I knew, the way everyone knows, that one day the people I loved would leave.
But knowing something and truly feeling it are not the same thing.

Then one day, a phone call came.

Just that. A phone call. An ordinary moment that split everything into before and after.

That was when I understood — it doesn't come slowly. It doesn't warn you. It doesn't give you time to find the right words.

It just comes.

I had a lot of things I never said. Words I kept saving for later, for the right moment, for when there was more time.

There was never more time.

Before Goodbye exists because of that weight. Because I think a lot of us are carrying things we haven't found the words for yet. This is a place to finally say them — without judgment, without an audience, without it needing to be perfect.

For everyone trying their best to still be here.

Say it while you still can. ’’
